Liverpool have joined the queue of clubs monitoring Moises Caicedo, but 90min reports that Brighton have absolutely no interest in selling the midfielder this summer.
Caicedo could be set for a breakout year with the Seagulls. Of course, Graham Potter’s men have lost one of their key midfielders in Yves Bissouma.

The Ecuador international was outstanding in the opening day win over Manchester United. And it seems that there is now a long list of sides tracking his progress.
Reports at the weekend claimed that Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham all want the 20-year-old, who cost just £4.5 million. And it seems that several others also have their eye on Caicedo.

According to 90min, Liverpool are keen on the youngster. Meanwhile, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea also find themselves in the running.
Brighton however, expect to have Caicedo still in their ranks when the transfer window closes. In fact, 90min reports that some think that there is no chance of the midfielder leaving before the deadline. They believe that he is one of the most promising young players plying his trade in Europe.
Liverpool monitoring Moises Caicedo
Liverpool’s midfield has been scrutinised at the start of this season. Jurgen Klopp has lost Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Thiago Alcantara to injury. And the Reds have been a little flat in their opening two games.
It would be a surprise if they made a big play for a signing in the final stages of the window. But certainly, they will already have their eye on those they want further down the line.
So they may not have a problem with Brighton’s stance on Caicedo at this stage.
Graham Potter has suggested that Caicedo is a ‘fantastic‘ player. And the list of clubs monitoring him says a lot about his potential.
He could be the ideal addition for Liverpool given their need to strengthen in the middle of the park. So there will certainly be plenty of Reds fans keeping an eye on how he develops over the coming months.
