Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott could be set to leave Anfield on loan, with Blackburn Rovers keen to sign the teenager before the 5pm deadline.
The Reds youngster has been in and around the first-team but knows his chances of regular minutes will be limited, especially with the summer signing of Thiago and the return to form of Naby Keita.

Furthemore, Curtis Jones has also emerged ahead of him in the pecking order when it comes to Premier League games.
And according to Sky’s Live transfer blog (13:55), Championship side Blackburn have come to the fore to take Elliott off Liverpool’s hands in a loan deal.
A move to Ewood Park would guarantee some more minuted for the former Fulham youngster. Rovers are also looking to propel themselves up the Championship table, and have already signed Barry Douglas from Leeds today.

It is claimed Liverpool are open to a move and it is now down to Elliott to decide if he wants to make the switch.
This would be good for Elliott, he should go – TBR View
Young players need to get experience of playing regular first-team minutes on a consistent basis and this could be the perfect chance for Elliott to do just that.
Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp clearly rate him but at the moment, he’s not getting too much of a look in.
Impressing at Ewood Park in a team full of experienced pros at Championship level would help him a lot. This, on paper, seems ideal for the teenager.
