Liverpool have now made their move to sign Piotr Zielinski from Napoli, Calcio Mercato claim.
They say that Jurgen Klopp’s side have now made contact with the Italian side, as Liverpool look to build on their transfer business.
The Reds have already brought in Ibrahima Konate to bolster their defensive options and it may be that their focus has now shifted on to midfield.
Liverpool have lost Georginio Wijnaldum on a free transfer, which means that there is now a gap in their squad.
Zielinski could fill it a similar manner, as he is such a well rounded midfielder.
The Polish international certainly has the energy to fit in with Liverpool’s high pressing system.
But his technical ability is often underrated by many observers.

Better than De Bruyne?
Indeed there has been claims from Polish legend Zbigniew Boniek (Football Italia) that Zielinski could be even better than Kevin De Bruyne, if he can find a route to goal more often.
Those claims are very much up for debate, but if Zielinski could have half the impact at Liverpool as De Bruyne has at City then he would be an incredible signing.
And Liverpool would certainly welcome the injection of creativity he would bring, if he was to sign.
