Liverpool have made an enquiry for Kostas Tsimikas, but the Daily Mail has suggested that Everton have also shown an interest in the full-back this summer.
The Mail has suggested that the Reds want Tsimikas as they look to land a backup left-back during this window.

It is claimed that the Greece international is below Jamal Lewis on the champions’ wishlist. But it appears that they have made an enquiry.
Interestingly, the Mail suggests that the Toffees have also made contact with Olympiacos in recent weeks. It remains to be seen if they will return with a fresh offer at any stage.

The Mail adds that the Greek side want £12 million for the 24-year-old. But they have already found a potential replacement for the defender.
TBR View: Tsimikas could be shrewd signing for Liverpool or Everton
Neither Liverpool or Everton need to sign a first-choice left-back this summer. So a move for Tsimikas could be a shrewd deal for either club.
It does appear, based on the Mail’s report, that Liverpool are showing more interest at present. But following Leighton Baines’s retirement, Everton may feel the need to make a signing in that area of the field.
So perhaps it should not come as a surprise if it is not the last time that Everton are linked with Tsimikas before his future is decided.
