Reports from Tutto mercato web suggest Juventus striker Carlos Tevez could be on his way to Liverpool.
The former Manchester United and City star has been linked with a move away from the Champions League runners-up in recent months and reports suggest the Reds are in pole position for his signature.
Previously Tevez has spoken of a desire to return to South America to see out his playing days but, after a tremendous season in Italy in which he scored 20 league goals in 32 appearances, he still appears to have plenty left to offer at the highest level.

With a playing style similar to that of Luis Suarez, the Argentine could be the perfect solution to Liverpool’s well-documented attacking problems. After all, his previous time in the Premier League is enough of an indication that he will be a huge success.
The Reds are on the verge of completing a deal for Danny Ings, but the general consensus suggests that he will suffice as little more than a back-up. Securing the signature of Carlos Tevez would be a major coup, and the first step of a long road to Anfield redemption for Brendan Rodgers.
