Liverpool are reportedly joining the race for in demand midfielder Boubakary Soumare at French top-flight club Lille.

The report details that it’s unclear on if the Merseyside giants will try make a move during the current January transfer window or wait until the summer.
Sky Sports previously reported that Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Valencia are all interested in the France Under-21 international, whole could end up being sold this month.

TBR’s View:
Soumare is a rising talent that is beginning to make a real name for himself in Europe and a move to a top club seems inevitable for the near future.
The defensive midfielder is a serious powerhouse that already has plenty of experience of Ligue 1 football under his belt, as well as exposure to the Champions League too.
Liverpool’s fresh interest in him should be a concern to other suitors, as they are such an attractive option right now and Anfield is currently home to arguably the best team in the world.
Soumare does look the ideal fit as someone that could work well in Jurgen Klopp’s midfield, as it’s been built on plenty of energy, work-rate and technical ability.
The Lille enforcer is someone who takes such good care of the ball with his strength and power, while he’s renowned for his great stamina and would be great competition in the Liverpool squad.
