The Reds will face competition from the likes of Manchester United and Dortmund, but it is believed Jurgen Klopp has been impressed with the Hornets star since the restart.
Sarr, who has five goals and five assists this season in the Premier League, joined Watford a mammoth fee of around £25m (BBC) back in August 2019.
The speedy winger has since impressed for Watford despite their struggles. Indeed, despite a loss to West Ham this past week, Sarr was arguably the best player on the pitch.
That performance led Gary Neville to label him as a ‘big, big talent’ and also a potential Manchester United signing.
Liverpool, though, would no doubt have to find the cash to land the trickster. With Watford having spent so much money, they’ll be keen to see a return on their investment if they do indeed decide to cash in.

If ever there was a player who would suit the attacking play Liverpool deploy, then you’d have to say Sarr fits it.
Quick, tricky, and with the ability to pull something out of nothing, Sarr is on course to become a top Premier League player if he can continue his development.
With Nigel Pearson on his way out of Watford, the time could be now for the Reds to strike. And after missing out on Timo Werner, Sarr would surely be a welcomed addition to the club.
