Liverpool have reportedly placed Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar on their wanted list for the January transfer window as a potential replacement for the injured Virgil van Dijk.
That is according to a report from ESPN, who claim the Slovakian is on a list of potential targets Liverpool could target in January.
The report claims that Jose Mourinho also remains keen on the player and would like him at Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs tried to sign Skriniar in the summer but found his €60 million (£54m) asking price too rich and moved on to sign Joe Rodon.

Mourinho still wants the Inter Milan defender but a move in the summer is considered more likely given their current financial situation.
Liverpool’s presence, however, might just move the needle for Tottenham, who may have to consider another approach for Skriniar in the winter.
Skriniar is considered dispensable at Inter and both Tottenham and Liverpool would be getting their hands on a top defensive option should they secure his services at any point in the future.
But they will likely have to pay that asking price, with Calciomercato suggesting there is little wiggle room in negotiations.
It will no doubt be interesting to see if either Liverpool or Tottenham do indeed bring Skriniar in come January.
