Liverpool have been handed a triple fitness boost ahead of their clash with Burnley, as goal.com say that Jordan Henderson, Thiago Alcantara and Curtis Jones are all fit to return to the squad.
Triple boost
The trio of midfielders all missed out on playing for Liverpool on opening day against Norwich City.
However, Jones has now recovered from a concussion, while Thiago and Henderson came through a behind closed door friendly and have not suffered any set backs.
Options in the middle
That means Jurgen Klopp’s options in the middle of the pitch now look far more plentiful.
On opening day Liverpool started with a trio of James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the middle.

However, it would be a surprise if that is the case again at the weekend, despite the Reds’ 3-0 success.
Henderson looks a likely starter if he is fit enough, while Thiago is also expected to play a much more prominent role this season.
The Spaniard endured a rather slow first season at Anfield, but towards the end of the campaign his quality was beginning to shine through, and there is a feeling that he could be vital for Klopp this time around.
