Liverpool are one of the clubs interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore, according to a report from 90min.
Traore has been one of the biggest revelations in the Premier League this season. The winger has scored four goals and contributed four assists in the top flight for Nuno Espirito Santo’s men.
He has been the man of the match on a number of occasions in recent times. So it should be absolutely no surprise that his form is attracting a lot of attention.
90min reports that the Reds want Traore, while Manchester City and Barcelona are also interested in the 23-year-old. It is noted that none of the trio are likely to make a move before the summer.
The report adds that Wolves are looking for £70 million for Traore.
TBR View – £70m will be bargain if current form continues
On current form, there is surely no question that Traore is worthy of a £70 million price-tag. But you can understand why his admirers may be reluctant to get carried away and make a move this month.
Traore had often been criticised for having little end product. He only scored one goal and provided one assist in the Premier League last season for example.
He perhaps now needs to prove that his current run of form is not the anomaly. In fairness, if he keeps going, Wolves would perhaps feel entitled to demand even more for him by the summer.
