Liverpool have reportedly entered the race to sign talented Flamengo youngster Reinier.
According to The Daily Mail, the Reds are showing interest in the 17-year-old starlet, who is yet to feature for his club’s first-team.

Reinier is already regarded as a top young talent in his homeland, and Manchester City, AC Milan, Everton, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have all been credited with interest by the Mail.
Reinier is under contract with the club until December 2020, but would not be able to depart until turning 18 in January.
Brazil’s U17s are in action against Paraguay on Tuesday and Friday, and scouts are expected to be present to watch the attacking midfielder in action.
TBR’s view
Jurgen Klopp has essentially ruled out big spending by Liverpool this summer, but he hasn’t completely closed the door on potential incomings before the transfer window closes in a few weeks.
That said, Reinier is currently protected by a £60 million release clause as reported by Goal, suggesting he would not come cheap. Perhaps the Reds will reignite their interest nearer the time of the end of his contract, assuming he doesn’t agree fresh terms.

The 6ft 3in South American is an exciting talent though – his style has already earned him comparisons to the legendary Brazilian Kaka (via Goal).
One has to assume that any deal here would be unlikely, with Liverpool already well stocked in terms of midfield options.
