Rangers are set for disappointment in pursuit of Liverpool winger Ryan Kent. According to The Liverpool Echo, Liverpool will not let Kent leave on loan again this summer.
Kent has been strongly linked with a return to Ibrox on loan. The player wants to reunite with Steven Gerrard in Glasgow for a second season. And the Gers are desperate to get this deal over the line.
However, Liverpool will stand firm and insist the young winger cannot leave on loan. The Reds will ask for £12m if Kent is to leave before the Scottish window closes. And this is a price tag that will rule Rangers out of the running.

Kent spent last season on loan at Rangers, playing Scottish Premiership and Europa League football. The English winger netted six goals and provided nine assists last season.
TBR’s view
Kent clearly wants to return to Rangers and Liverpool are blocking the youngster’s career progression. They have priced him out of a permanent move to his preferred destination, as well as blocking a loan return.
If Kent stays at Liverpool, his first-team games will be limited to cup matches unless there is an injury crisis. For the sake of his career, Liverpool should let him rejoin Rangers on loan.
