Hamilton, who coincidentally plays for Hamilton Academicals, is a wanted man heading into the summer after impressing north of the border.

Despite being only 18, Hamilton has already broken into the first XI for Accies and has cemented a regular starting spot. He is thought to have impressed during a trial with Brighton before the global situation put a halt to his progress.

However, Liverpool and Wolves are not alone with their interest in the teenager. Aston Villa and Everton are both thought to have enquired in January.

Meanwhile, the Scottish Sun claims Hamilton rejected a six-figure bid from QPR for the youngster during the winter transfer window. A sign, then, of how highly the Scots rate their man.

Wolves, on the other hand, are also said to be keen as Nuno Santo looks to continue to develop the Molineux club.

Away from the big name signings, it can be just as important to ensure the future of your football club.

That’s why Jurgen Klopp would be making a smart move in landing Hamilton. Of course, he has a long way to go and so much developing to do, but all the signs are there for him.

He’d surely jump at the chance of a move to Anfield, too. Furthermore, he’d cost little. Hamilton might have rejected a bid already from QPR but it won’t take much to convince them to part ways you’d imagine.
