Liverpool are to be given the chance to hold crucial opening talks with Erling Haaland’s representatives this weekend, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Mino Raiola and Alfe-Inge Haaland are said to be on a mini tour of Europe this weekend as they seek out a potential destination for their young superstar client this summer.
Haaland is being tipped to leave Dortmund, who are asking for over £150m for their man. The likes of Liverpool, Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester City are said to be leading the race to sign the Norwegian.

And Mundo Deportivo state that the Reds will, like City, get their chance this weekend to essentially make an opening sales pitch to Haaland.
Liverpool are arguably the least likely to win the race, given their financial scenario. City look best placed, with both Madrid and Barcelona somewhat cash-strapped and needing to sell players first.
TBR View: Liverpool can dream but pulling Haaland out the bag would be the mother of all surprises
It’s not that Liverpool aren’t an attractive club for Haaland. They’re rich with history and are the current champions, although that will be Manchester City again in a few weeks.
But you just feel the financial might of the other clubs here will tip this deal their way. Raiola will want top money for both him and Haaland, and given FSG’s history, it’s hard to see the Reds going all out.
Liverpool fans, of course, will be dreaming. But signing Haaland seems a distance off, despite being in the mix.
