Liverpool and Manchester City are interested in securing the services of striker Patson Daka, according to Salzburg Nachrichten.
The 22-year-old is likely to be one of Europe’s most wanted during the summer after his impressive goal-haul.
He has found the net 27 times during 2020/21 and also helped himself to eight assists during the campaign.

The Salzburg talisman has showcased a lethal instinct during his time in Austria, scoring 61 goals during 114 appearances.
Now it would seem as though clubs are set to make concrete attempts to sign him during the summer.
Both Liverpool and Manchester City are two of the frontrunners and could do battle for his signature.
The Citizens are set to romp to the Premier League title and currently sit 14 points clear of Manchester United in second.
For Liverpool, the challenge will be to throw themselves back into the mix for a title next season.
They’ve relinquished their title with a whimper this season and that simply won’t do for Jurgen Klopp.
Daka could thrive in either Klopp or Pep Guardiola’s team and it’ll be interesting to see who does land the talisman.
The Zambian ace has played 18 times for his country and looks like becoming a future star.
TBR View: Liverpool need Daka more than City and they must pounce
Klopp will know that the defence of the club’s first title has been nothing short of a disaster.
As a result, the club will have to back him in the summer and improving the squad depth is a must.

Interestingly, Daka could thrive in Liverpool’s system and he could quickly become a first-team regular.
Roberto Firmino has flattered to deceive this season and the youngster could be an ideal long-term replacement given his all-action style.
City will provide attractive competition but the Reds must do whatever it takes to get him to Anfield.
