All Nigeria Soccer have claimed that Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are three of five Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Chelsea youngster Faustino Anjorin this summer – as the teen looks set to enter the last year of his contract.
Versatile star Anjorin, 18, is another example of Chelsea’s excellent youth academy and is one of a number of youngsters given a chance by manager Frank Lampard. He has made two substitute appearances in the Carabao Cup and Premier League.
Anjorin, a three-time England Under-19 international, has been in stunning form for the club’s Under-23 side as he continues his rapid rise at Stamford Bridge – scoring 10 and creating eight in 24 second string appearances.
A new deal has been put on the table by Chelsea and Anjorin is expected to sign a new deal. But Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Norwich City are all monitoring the situation if he refuses – as are Borussia Dortmund.

TBR’s view – Anjorin a potential gem but Lampard likely to keep him
Looking at the Premier League’s top sides, if you are a teenage talent looking to break into a senior club – there is no better place than Chelsea at the moment. Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori and Billy Gilmour will testify to that.
Jurgen Klopp prefers to use his proven stars and although the under-23 teams played in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, Klopp will pick his senior stars more often. Similarly, Pep Guardiola’s winning mentality means little chance for the youngsters.
Manchester United have brought through a number of young players this season and Anjorin would have a chance of breaking in at Old Trafford. But having been at Chelsea since the Under-nine level, surely he will remain.
