A report from CalcioMercato claims that Liverpool have added Chelsea man Callum Hudson-Odoi to their shortlist ahead of a possible future move.
Hudson-Odoi, 20, clocked up his 100th appearance for Chelsea at senior level during a 3-0 win over Aston Villa. But he has played just twice in 21-22.
The England international started against Villa, and Villarreal in the UEFA Super Cup. But for the rest of Chelsea’s games, he has been an unused sub.
The Champions League winner, though, is clearly a player with enormous talent. At this stage in his career, he will want to be playing regularly.
The report claims Liverpool are looking to take advantage of his lack of game time at Stamford Bridge. He has been added to the Liverpool shortlist.

Hudson-Odoi to Liverpool: Brilliant move for Chelsea star
The problem for Hudson-Odoi at Chelsea is that the Blues have numerous options in the England man’s favoured position – left, or right wing.
They boast Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic who can all play on the flanks in a front three.
It is a different story at Liverpool. The Reds lack depth when it comes to replacements for Mo Salah and Sadio Mane. Xherdan Shaqiri has left.
Harvey Elliott is injured on a long-term basis, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is better in midfield. Diogo Jota starts over Roberto Firmino.
So, Liverpool need depth – more than Chelsea do. £120k-a-week (Spotrac) Hudson-Odoi would get loads more game time if he was to move to Anfield.
