Spurs recently sold Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid for £20 million (BBC Sport), and are set to head into 2019/20 with Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters, after Juan Foyth was stretchered off against Bayern Munich in the Audi Cup.
Aurier recently underwent hand surgery, meaning he faces a battle to be fit to face Aston Villa next weekend in Spurs’ Premier League opener.
With Daniel Levy working to complete a move for Giovani Lo Celso, it’s looking like there could be a frantic next few days in store for Tottenham.
TBR’s view
At £20 million, Hysaj is brilliant value.
After joining Napoli in 2015, the 25-year-old has gone on to become one of Serie A’s most consistent right-backs.

He’s been a mainstay in the starting XI for the last four years, and offers both defensive and attacking qualities unlike the departed Trippier.
Hysaj, despite his relatively young age, has a wealth of experienceand has also represented his country on 47 occasions.
