Report: Leicester, Southampton and Palace eye Andreaw Gravillon
Leicester City, Southampton and Crystal Palace are amongst the clubs keen on signing Andreaw Gravillon this summer, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
The 23-year-old has had an interesting time since joining Inter Milan in 2019.
Gravillon has had four loan spells, including very one brief one with Sassuolo in 2019.
Thankfully, his time with Lorient has proved to be much more successful. He has played 26 times in Ligue 1 this season.
Foot Mercato reports that Lorient have an option to buy the youngster, and they do reportedly want to keep him. However, they may be unable to do so due to the finances involved.
And that appears to have alerted several clubs. According to Foot Mercato, four Ligue 1 rivals, including Lyon, Marseille and Rennes, are keen.
Meanwhile, Olympiakos are amongst his other admirers. But there is also interest from Leicester, Southampton and Palace.
Leicester, of course, are gearing up for another European run after qualifying for the Europa League.
Palace look set to have a busy summer ahead. Roy Hodgson is leaving, and they have a number of players out of contract.
Southampton meanwhile, need to bolster their squad after Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men really struggled with injuries this term.
They arguably have a reasonable amount of depth at the heart of their defence. Nevertheless, Gravillon is a player who can play in either full-back role, so that may appeal.
