English Premier League club Leicester City are reportedly making positive steps in their bid to sign Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard this summer.
According to talkSPORT, Leicester are boosted in their pursuit of the 23-year-old as they are making “good progress” over a potential deal.
It is understood that the French striker has already agreed personal terms for a switch to the King Power Stadium, and Celtic are looking to sell him at the end of the season due to the fact his Parkhead contract is about to enter its final year.
The report adds that he’s likely to cost between £15million and £20million.
Edouard, who scored 22 goals in 40 games this season, may have played his last game for the Scottish giants if reports turn out to be true.
The £19,000-a-week centre-forward has won three league titles with the Hoops, netting 83 goals in 168 appearances across all competitions for them.

TBR’s View:
It seems like Edouard is destined for the Celtic exit doors, and it’ll be interesting to see how he fares in the Premier League.
FA Cup winners Leicester are such an attractive club for any young player to join right now, so Edouard should be in safe hands working under a familiar face in Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers next season.
Meanwhile, Celtic can’t afford to waste time in finding a replacement.
They are going to need a goal machine if they are to seriously threaten this season’s champions Rangers next year, and replacing Edouard’s goals will not be easy.
