Leicester City will now look to move for Torino defender, Nicolas N’Koulou, according to a report from the Italian media outlet, Tuttosport.
The Foxes completed the signing of Atalanta defender, Timothy Castagne, yesterday and are now set to continue to delve into the transfer market as Brendan Rodgers seeks to strengthen his squad.
Ben Chilwell’s sale to Chelsea has given the Midlands outfit the funds with which to spend in the market, with N’Koulou now touted as a potential target for them.
The Cameroon international is vastly experienced, having won 72 caps for his country and played over 400 career games for the likes of Monaco, Marseille, and now, Torino.
Leicester needs some more central defenders in the squad, given they are low on numbers in that area. Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu are the main two, but Wes Morgan is now into the last stages of his career while Filip Benkovic remains unproven.
N’Koulou, then, would appear to be a smart move by Rodgers given his experience and quality at the top level.

As mentioned, Leicester needs some bodies in the building and especially in the central defensive areas, where an injury to Evans or Soyuncu could be catastrophic.
N’Koulou has played at the highest level for most of his career now and would surely relish the chance at competing in the Premier League.
Strong, quick, and still in his prime really, the Cameroon star is not likely to cost too much either, making him the ideal capture.
