Leicester City has joined the race to sign Brentford full-back, Rico Henry, according to a report from the Leicester Mercury.
Henry is a wanted man this summer after a fine season with Brentford in the Championship. He was a regular for Thomas Frank all season, providing a consistent attacking threat down the left for the Bees.
Leeds are said to be among the teams interested in signing Henry. Indeed, the Daily Star claimed just a week or so ago that the Whites were in a three-way battle to land the Brentford ace.
However, Leicester’s interest has emerged as new news. The Foxes are said to be keen on Henry, despite sealing a big-money deal for Atalanta defender, Timothy Castagne last week.
Brendan Rodgers lost Ben Chilwell to Chelsea earlier in the transfer window and is now said to be keen on ensuring he has suitable cover in the full-back positions.

The 23-year-old has worked his way up to being a top player through League One then into the Championship and now deserves his shot at Premier League football if it comes along.
Leicester would be a good fit for him, too. Brendan Rodgers has no qualms about playing young players and given he employs an expansive attacking system, it should suit Henry.
Ben Chilwell is a loss, of course. But along with Castagne, the signing of Henry can ensure Chilwell is suitably replaced.
