Leeds United are ready to make another big statement in the transfer market, with the Daily Mirror reporting that the Whites are prepared to offer Michael Cuisance a five-year contract at Elland Road.

Cuisance is one of the latest names being linked with Marcelo Bielsa’s side during this window.

And the Daily Mirror reports that the Whites are in talks with Bayern Munich regarding a potential move.

The 21-year-old only moved to the Bavarian giants last summer. But the Mirror reports that the Champions League winners would be prepared to sell for £18 million.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror claims that Leeds believe that a deal is possible. And it is also suggested that the Whites would be willing to offer the Frenchman a five-year deal.

Of course, Leeds were never going to offer Cuisance a short contract. But it still sends out a big message should they manage to sign the youngster to such a lengthy deal.

As confirmed by BBC Sport, Robin Koch and Rodrigo Moreno have penned four-year deals. And it is a similar story for Diego Llorente, according to the club’s website.

That would arguably suggest that Leeds are hopeful that Cuisance can become a real superstar. So perhaps it should not be a big surprise if the Whites focus much of their attention in the coming days on getting a deal done.
