Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur both wanted sign Solly March before he penned a new Brighton & Hove Albion contract, 90 Minutes report.
Committing his future
Leeds, Tottenham and Arsenal were all sniffing around a potential bargain for the 27-year-old.
However, Brighton have fended off interest by getting March to commit his future.
That looks a boost for the Seagulls, who are under threat of losing key talents in Ben White and Yves Bissouma already this summer.
It also could mean that Leeds and Tottenham have to look elsewhere in their hope of landing a new left sided player.
Missing out
March could have competed with Sergio Reguilon for a place at left-wing back for Spurs, with Nuno expected to deploy a 5-3-2 system.

March, meanwhile, could have been used as either at left-back or a winger at Leeds.
Marcelo Bielsa always encourages his side to attack, and March could have been a good fit in that system.
However, any deal looks to be off the cards now, with March set to extend his stay at Brighton, in a major boost for the south coast club.
