Leeds United are still retaining an interest in signing Ryan Kent from Rangers, over a year after initial links with the winger, the Athletic report.
Leeds have been long-term admirers for Kent, and it seems that he is a player very much still on Marcelo Bielsa’s side’s radar.
Leeds have tried to sign Kent in the past, but failed with Rangers standing firm and rejecting a bid for him in 2020 (Sky).
However, Steven Gerrard’s side do have some needs to raise funds this summer.
Rangers are still unlikely to be keen to listen to offers for Kent, but with Leeds now having the financial power of a season in the Premier League behind them, they may be better placed to put forward an attractive offer for the attacker who was hailed as ‘top class’ recently by Scottish pundit Stephen Craigan (Go Radio).

Leeds winger search goes on
Leeds are still on the hunt for a winger, so their retained interest in Kent may not come as too much of a surprise.
Bielsa and Victor Orta are known fans of the tricky attacker, who played a key role in Rangers’ success last term.
If he was brought to Leeds he could add even more threat to a front-line which troubled England’s biggest sides last season and he certainly would be an exciting addition to their squad.
