Leeds United and Southampton have made contact with Romain Perraud as they consider a summer move for the Brest full-back, according to a report from French outlet Le10 Sport.
It would be no surprise to see both clubs sign a left-back at the end of the season. Stuart Dallas and Gjanni Alioski have shared the responsibility for the Whites this term.

Meanwhile, the Saints’ lack of depth was somewhat exposed when Ryan Bertrand was suspended for their Premier League clash with Arsenal this week.
And it appears that both clubs have identified a potential summer target. According to Le10 Sport, they are monitoring Perraud.
In fact, it is suggested that Leeds and the Saints have made contact with his club as well as with his representatives about a potential move.

The report notes that the 23-year-old has signed a new contract this month. It is set to keep him with Les Pirates until 2025.
However, the Premier League pair have not been put off. Le10 Sport claims that they are still eyeing a summer bid for Perraud.
Perraud has scored three goals and provided five assists in Ligue 1 this term. He is certainly a threat in the final third, with an ability to produce outstanding crosses or unleash a thunderous shot.
But he also seems to have a similar level of composure and flair when defending.
Both clubs have produced transfer masterstrokes when signing players from France this season. Raphinha has been outstanding since arriving at Elland Road from Rennes.
Meanwhile, Southampton also appear to have a special talent on their hands in Perraud’s former teammate Ibrahima Diallo.
So perhaps, that success could drive both teams to confirm their interest in the left-back with a bid when the summer window arrives.
