Leeds United are interested in Utrecht right-back Sean Klaiber, according to a report from Voetbal International.
The Whites are gearing up for their return to the Premier League this summer. Marcelo Bielsa’s side have made Illan Meslier’s move permanent, but the fans are still awaiting their first new face of the window.

And perhaps the Championship winners could be interested in making Klaiber one of the new additions.
Voetbal International reports that Leeds are one of the clubs keen on the 25-year-old. It is suggested no offers have been made for the full-back, but his contract expires in 2022.

Klaiber scored four goals and provided four assists in the Eredivisie this past season. Interestingly, that is the same return as current Leeds stalwart Luke Ayling.
Klaiber may not be a household name. But he is a player that at least one member of the Leeds squad will be aware of.
Mateusz Klich spent half a season on loan at Utrecht during his first year at Elland Road. The pair played alongside each other on a number of occasions. Of course, Klich would return to the fold with his parent club following Bielsa’s appointment.
Leeds have had some success when signing players from the Netherlands in the last few years. Along with Klich – who initially signed from Twente – the Whites also brought in Pascal Struijk.
The centre-back joined from Ajax in 2018. And he proved to be one of the revelations of the last portion of the season as he produced three incredibly impressive displays in holding midfield.
