Leeds United are reportedly in the running to sign PSG youngsters Adil Aouchiche and Tanguy Kouassi, according to a report from 90min.

The talented French pair are currently out of contract in the summer. PSG have been struggling to secure their long0term futures, with both players wanting regular playing time.

90min reports that PSG could use Leeds United as a tool to help secure the future of these top talents.

The idea is that the duo would sign a new deal at PSG, with the proviso that they will end up on loan at Leeds United next season.

Both players could then get regular playing time at Elland Road under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa.

Andrea Radrizzani has a strong relationship with PSG’s Qatari owners, which has seen plenty of takeover links emerge in recent months, and could be key to completing such a deal.

Leeds United fans should be very excited if this is the case, as both Aouchiche and Kouasii are considered two of the best young players in France.

Aouchiche caught the eye at the Under-17 European Championships last summer. The playmaker scored an impressive nine goals in five games as France exited the competition at the semi-final stage.

The performances in Ireland had football fans across Europe discussing his talents and his Algerian heritage has helped him become the ‘next Zinedine Zidane’ to some pundits. Barcelona, as reported by SPORT, are keen on the player who has expressed a desire to sign a new deal with PSG.

Kouassi, as reported by Le Parisien, is a major target for Bundesliga side RB Leipzig who are confident of bringing him to Germany.

As stated on the Ligue 1 website, Kouassi is considered the ‘next Marcel Desailly’ by some French pundits and has already impressed in his fleeting appearances in the PSG first-team.

So it appears Leeds United might have a chance of bringing the next Zidane and Desailly to Elland Road in the summer.

That would be quite the coup for Radrizzani to pull off, even if it is just on loan.
