One currently out-of-favour Leeds United player looks unlikely to play again this year, with reports suggesting an injury will leave him out of action until the new year.
The player in question is Jay-Roy Grot, so Leeds United fans can immediately calm down regarding any fears over losing a first-team player for a lengthy period.
Grot has not played a game for Leeds since April 2018 when he featured in a 2-1 loss against Norwich City.
Marcelo Bielsa quickly decided that the £1.5 million (as reported by YEP) was not a part of his plans in the summer of 2018 and the 22-year-old has spent the last two seasons back on loan in the Netherlands with VVV Venlo and Vitesse Arnhem.

But the Dutch under-21 international is still a member of the Elland Road family and Leeds fans will be disappointed to hear the news of his injury trouble.
SportNieuws is recording that Grot will not play again this year. He suffered a serious knee injury in March that required an operation but the report states that a new issue is a reason for his lengthy absence.
He picked up a bacterial infection whilst undergoing his first surgery and ended up requiring two more operations as a consequence. He is now said to need several months to recover his full fitness. The problem has also ended his hopes of a summer transfer, with the likes of Real Oviedo and Dijon of Spain and France respectively previously keen.
Grot will now work on his fitness before looking for a move in January and Leeds will hopefully stand by their player in his tough road back to full fitness.
