Leeds United are said to be winning the race to sign Bodo/Glimt winger, Jens Petter Hauge, according to a report from Italian news outlet, Calciomercato.
The report claims that Hauge has emerged as a target for the Whites, who could face competition from AC Milan to sign the Norwegian starlet.
Hauge enjoyed a stellar campaign in Norway last season. The 20-year-old rattled in an impressive 14 goals, while also contributing a further nine assists to cast himself into the limelight.
Capable of playing on either wing, Hauge would give Marcelo Bielsa depth and options in the wide areas. With Pablo Hernandez set to miss Sunday’s clash with Sheffield United, having someone else in the squad like Hauge would be helpful.
Leeds already have Helder Costa and Jack Harrison in the wide areas but having strengthened other areas of the pitch, are now looking to ensure they have adequate depth across the squad.
Hauge has already scored three times this season, including against Milan in Europa League qualifying.

The signings Leeds have made seem to be measured and considered in terms of the system they play and this looks like being a similar case.
Hauge showed his quality against Milan. Quick, direct, and with more than a keen eye for goal, the youngster could well give Leeds a massive boost in attacking areas from the wings.
Leeds are by no means done in the market it seems and this would be another fine addition to an already exciting squad.
