Leeds United are reportedly keeping track of Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Lovro Majer along with a host of elite clubs in Europe.
That is according to a report from CalcioMercato, who claim that AC Milan are currently upping their own interest in the player.
Compared to a young Luka Modric, the 22-year-old has reportedly caught the eye of Borussia Dortmund, Fiorentina, Valencia, and Sevilla as well as the Rossoneri.
But Leeds have also been scouting him, according to the report, although no suggestion of a future move for the player is made.

Of course, Leeds fans would be right to get excited about a potential move for a player tipped as the next Modric, considering the Ballon d’Or winner’s career exploits.
Leeds also appear to have a fairly decent pathway to the Croatian club where he currently plies his trade.
The Whites were in advanced negotiations to sign Josko Gvardiol from Dinamo this summer.
As detailed by The Sun, Leeds agreed an £18 million fee with the club earlier this summer for the promising defender. However, the teenager decided he was not ready for a Premier League move and joined RB Leipzig instead, heading back to Croatia on loan for a season.
Leeds fans will have to hope that the club’s previous negotiations with Dinamo can help them secure a move for a player who has plenty of interested eyes fixed on his gaze.
