Leeds United are battling with Portuguese side Vitoria for not one, but two players.

The Daily Mail has recently reported that the Portuguese outfit are looking to continue their recent trend of recruiting talented English talent, following the signings of Marcus Edwards and Easah Suliman in the recent past.

Danny Loader of Reading is next on the list, although Leeds United are also said to be keen.

The same report also claims that Vitoria have held talks with 16-year-old free agent Jadan Raymond. Leeds United are reported to have also spoken to the player about a move to Thorp Arch, with the England under-17 international available after his Crystal Palace contract expired.

Last year, after excelling for his national team, Benfica and Valencia were linked with the player by the Daily Mail and it is clear he has a bright future in the game. Raymond had just been named the player of the tournament at the under-17 Syrenka Cup.

Raymond, who is signed to the same agency as Raheem Sterling and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, will be hot property this summer and Leeds United face a definite fight if they are to try and secure the services of the player.

Colossal Sports Management, his agency, also represents Loader and it seems the duo could easily head to the same location this summer.

Leeds fans will be hoping that is West Yorkshire and not Northern Portugal.
