Leeds United will make a move this week to sign Rangers star Ryan Kent, with the Sun claiming Marcelo Bielsa is once again in the hunt of the winger.

The former Liverpool man has been in excellent form for Rangers since moving north of the border, flourishing under the management of Steven Gerrard. Indeed, that form saw him win the best young player in Scotland award last season.

But now, Marcelo Bielsa appears to be on the hunt to sign Kent in what would be the third effort by the Leeds boss to bring him to Elland Road.

Leeds are in the hunt for new players following their promotion from the Championship. Kent is a target for around £10m according to the report, despite the Whites already securing Jack Harrison and signing Helder Costa permanently.

Kent has already got off the mark this season for the Gers. He has scored twice and looks on course already to beat the eight strikes he hit last season.

The way Leeds play means they’re going to need plenty of competition and options and it makes perfect sense for them to target another wide player.

At £10m, Kent won’t break the bank and after proving himself in Scotland, he might well be open to the challenge of coming back to England.

Marcelo Bielsa knows what he wants from his squad this coming season and if he sees Kent as a good addition, then Leeds fans will go along with it.

At 23, too, he’s at the ideal age to develop quickly and become a regular feature for the Whites in the PL.
