Leeds United are interested in the signing of talented young Frenchman Thierno Balde, according to reports.
L’Equipe is reporting on the French side’s current attempts to secure some of their best young players to new contracts and professional deals. That includes the highly-touted Adil Aouchiche and Tanguy Kouassi, who have both recently been linked with moves to Leeds United.
However, it would appear that Leeds are also keen on another PSG youngster.
The report claims that Leeds are interested in Balde, who can play either at centre-back or right-back, and who replaced Kouassi in the PSG second team after Kouassi’s first-team call-up.

Balde has reportedly been offered a contract but Leeds ‘have notably expressed their interest’ in the 17-year-old, along with Saint-Etienne and Premier League side Southampton.
Balde, who is eligible for both France and Guinea at international level, came through the ranks at the capital club and is clearly a player they think highly of.
Leeds United are clearly thinking of Balde as a potential future first-team option and, as his contract expires in the summer, he would be a free addition to the club’s under-23s initially.
Discussions are said to be ‘continuing’ between Balde and PSG and Leeds will no doubt be waiting to see if they have a chance of signing this talented young defender in the summer.
