Leeds United are among four English clubs interested in signing Braga defender Bruno Viana, according to talkSPORT.
Viana is on the radar of Leeds, as well as Premier League trio Leicester City, Watford and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Lazio are also said to be keen on the Primeira Liga defender.
The Brazilian defender operates primarily as a centre-back and has played a key role in Braga’s success this season.
Braga currently sit fourth in the Portuguese top division and have only conceded 28 goals in 28 matches this term.
English clubs have taken notice of this and could make a move for Viana, who has started 27 of their 28 league matches.
The former Cruzeiro and Olympiacos defender also gained experience in the Europa League this season.
Leeds are said to be considering a swoop for the 24-year-old, who is rated between £8m and £10m by Braga.
The Whites currently use Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper as their first-choice centre-backs but have been little depth in that department.
Central midfielder Kalvin Phillips, right-back Gaetano Berardi and youngster Aapo Halme have all had to fill in at centre-half this season.
Viana would add competition for places but Leeds face a battle to land their man with three top-half Premier League teams lurking.
