Leeds United are one of a host of clubs reportedly interested in a deal for NEC Nijmegen attacker Ole Romeny, according to reports.
Voetbal International claims that Leeds United are one of 10 teams interested in signing the 20-year-old.
The likes of Manchester City, Norwich City, Brentford, Juventus, Bologna, Fortuna Dusseldorf, Real Sociedad, Willem II, and Heerenveen are also said to be targeting the player, who scored nine goals in 30 games for NEC this season.
The 6ft 2ins Dutch under-18 international, who gained attention for becoming the youngest ever player sent off on their Eredivisie debut back in January 2018, is clearly a talented player and Leeds United fans can be warmed by the fact they are in such illustrious competition.
NEC will no doubt be looking to sell, as they will be again be playing in the Dutch second-tier next season after a play-off surge was harpooned by the cancellation of football in the Netherlands.
Leeds will be hoping their previous business with NEC, from whom they signed Jay-Roy Grot in 2017 for a reported £750,000 (YEP), can also hand them an advantage.
If they did, Leeds fans would hope that Romeny can have a bigger impact at Elland Road than Grot has managed so far.
