Leeds United are hoping to announce their first under-23s signing of the summer in the next couple of days, according to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The Whites are gearing up to make a step up next season. Mark Jackson’s men won Premier League 2 Division Two at a canter last year.

But they will have to play at that higher level without one of their key men from the past season.
Olly Casey brought an end to a long association with the Whites this summer, with the defender joining Blackpool permanently.

It remains to be seen where the under-23s strengthen. Victor Orta has seemingly tended to give the youth ranks as much attention as he does the first-team recruitment.
And it seems that the first arrival may not be too far away.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, their first under-23 signing is set to be confirmed in the next day or so.
Leeds fans given reason to be almost as excited about under-23s signings as first-team additions
The Whites have done an amazing job of bolstering their academy ranks in the transfer market.
Players such as Elia Caprile, Cody Drameh, Crysencio Summerville, Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood look to have superb futures ahead.
They have all arrived from other clubs in recent years. And they all went on to play integral roles for Jackson’s side last season.
So supporters will be extremely excited to see who is next through the door as a new signing reportedly looms.
