Leeds United have told PSG that they won’t be signing Illan Meslier from them this summer, the Athletic report.
PSG had what was called a ‘tentative’ interest in Meslier, after what was a stellar first season in goal for Leeds in the Premier League.
The French stopper has caught the eye with his performances.
But Leeds are not intent on selling any key players this summer, regardless of the money brought in.
Leeds are seemingly keen to keep the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Raphinha and Patrick Bamford at the club, despite their huge rises in values over the past year.
With Meslier also set to stick around, despite interest from PSG, the tools are all there for Leeds to really push on in their second season.

At 21-years-old, Meslier looks to be one of the best young goalkeepers in European football, and was hailed as ‘exceptional’ by Alan Shearer (Premier League Youtube).
He will surely start next season as Marcelo Bielsa’s side’s first choice once again.
And Leeds fans will be delighted that they are now able to fight off interest even from the biggest European sides, which shows signs of their progress in recent years.
