Belgian outlet HLN have claimed that Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe has landed in Belgium and is set to undergo a medical with Anderlecht on Monday with a three-year deal on the table.
Roofe, 26, scored 15 goals for Leeds last season despite two lengthy spells on the sidelines. The Whites had hoped to tie Roofe down to a new contract, but the two parties have seemingly failed to come to an agreement.
With Roofe’s current deal expiring in less than 12 months, the attacker would have been available on a free to foreign clubs from January – and to English clubs next summer. Indeed, Leeds have opted to cash in.
A fee of £7million is believed to have been agreed between Vincent Kompany’s side and Leeds. Though Roofe is nursing a slight ankle injury, a medical is expected to be passed and he will become an Anderlecht player soon.

TBR’s view – Simply, Leeds must replace Roofe
Patrick Bamford scored for Leeds on Sunday afternoon against Bristol City, but last season showed that the former Chelsea man goes in and out of form. A second striker is required to provide competition.
Leeds need a proven Championship goalscorer. The last time they lost a striker late on the window, they brought in Pierre-Michel Lasogga to replace Chris Wood – but the German only scored 10 times.
The likes of Dwight Gayle would be perfect for Leeds after he scored 24 times for West Brom last season.
