London Football News have claimed that Leeds United are set to make an offer for Queens Park Rangers playmaker Luke Freeman, after previously being linked with the attacking midfielder.
The 27-year-old has been on fire for QPR during the 2018-19 campaign, having a hand in 17 Championship goals for the London-based side. Indeed, he scored nine goals and created eight more in assists.
The former Bristol City player, who won the Player of the Year award for QPR, was pivotal in his side’s 1-0 win over Leeds back in February. He scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win at Loftus Road.
Immediately after that match, TalkSPORT ran an exclusive claiming Leeds wanted to sign Freeman – with Marcelo Bielsa impressed by the pocket-sized playmaker. Freeman still has two years left on his contract.

The latest report claims Leeds are set to make an offer for the QPR star, but it is also believed that QPR do not want to lose their Player of the Season – especially not on the cheap.
TBR’s view
Many outlets reported last summer that Blackburn and Middlesbrough had bid of £4million rejected for Freeman, and it is likely that that figure has only increased after an excellent 2018-19 campaign.
Indeed, Freeman’s price tag may even be double what QPR rejected last summer – thus his importance to Mark Warburton’s team. It remains to be seen if Leeds can tempt him away from Loftus Road.
