According to De Telegraaf, three clubs asked about Crysencio Summerville over the summer, but Leeds had no intention of letting him leave.
What’s the story?
Well, the Dutch news outlet believe SC Cambuur, FC Groningen and SC Heerenveen all enquired about bringing the 19-year-old back to the Netherlands.
However, their efforts failed as Leeds issued a hands-off warning.
Eventually, Leeds allowed Ian Poveda and Helder Costa to leave Elland Road on loan, where they joined Blackburn and Valencia respectively.
De Telegraaf add that Marcelo Bielsa is pleased with Summerville’s development in Yorkshire, and wanted to keep him at the club.
The Argentine has included the Dutch forward in his squad for all three Premier League games so far this season.
Will Crysencio Summerville shine for Leeds this season?

In our view, we feel Summerville deserves plenty of first-team action this season.
Following his £1.3m move from Feyenoord last summer, the wonderkid scored six goals and provided six assists in 12 Premier League 2 games.
So far this term, Summerville has one goal in two Premier League 2 outings.
His mesmeric dribbling ability and directness make him a perfect attacker for Bielsa.

The arrival of Dan James probably won’t have pleased Summerville too much, as both men play on the wing.
However, competition for places is just part and parcel of life in the Premier League.
If anything, Summerville should use the £25m man’s arrival as motivation to get even better – hopefully, Bielsa gives him his chance at some point.
