Leeds United are one of the sides most interested in signing Arnaud Kalimuendo, with L’Equipe reporting that talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a £21.2 million deal are continuing.
The Whites appear set to prioritise signing a new striker in the final weeks of the transfer window. Jesse Marsch has already been able to strengthen in a number of other areas.

Reports claimed that Leeds had switched their attention to Kalimuendo after giving up on signing Charles De Ketelaere.
They do face competition for his signature. Reports on Wednesday suggested that Newcastle had made a bid for the 20-year-old worth up to £16.9 million.

But it seems that Leeds may be pushing ahead in the battle to sign the striker. L’Equipe is now reporting that the Whites are one of the sides most interested in a deal.
And they are now in talks with PSG over a move worth up to £21.2 million. Leeds would pay around £18.7 million up front, with the rest being made up in add-ons.
Leeds must be wary however, with Inter Milan also keen on Kalimuendo. L’Equipe notes that the two clubs are already discussing a deal for Milan Skriniar. So clearly, some kind of swap may prove to be convenient for PSG and Inter.
Leeds now in talks to sign Kalimuendo
It does look to be really important that Leeds strengthen up front before the deadline passes. They do have options. But they really struggled for goals last term while Patrick Bamford was sidelined.
Joe Gelhardt could be about to enjoy a real breakout year. But signing someone such as Kalimuendo would please a lot of supporters.
It does seem that Leeds have stepped up their interest.
