Leeds United are interested in signing Kelechi Nwakali, according to a report in the Athletic.
Nwakali is currently playing for Huesca in Spain, after leaving Arsenal just two years ago.
The 23-year-old has shown promise in Spain, and Leeds now seemingly feel that he could be a strong addition to their side.
With Huesca being relegated last season from La Liga, Leeds are looking to capitalise on him and land him on a cheap deal.
Nwakali seems unlikely to break into Leeds’ starting line-up straight away, given that he didn’t feature too prominently for Huesca last term.
Taking a punt
But his skill-set makes him an intriguing prospect and on a cheap deal he may be a gamble worth taking.

Marcelo Bielsa is a brilliant coach, and if he can improve rapidly, then Leeds may be able to mould him into a star in their team.
The Whites already have plenty of creative players, but Nwakali would further bolster their options in the more advanced positions.
And that could be crucial if Bielsa wants to rotate his side slightly more throughout the upcoming campaign.
