Leeds United are said to be leading the race to sign Adama Traore from Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to 90 Minutes.
To Elland Road?
Leeds have been linked with the winger consistently heading into the transfer window.
And it seems that the Whites have now edged to the front of the queue to sign him.
Leeds have faced competition from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea for the rapid wide-man, according to the report, so he could be a significant coup if he was to sign.
Victor Orta was actually said to be in contact with Wolves over doing a deal, but Leeds wanted him on loan at the time.
Second time lucky
Wolves had no interest in that deal, but could be more tempted to a sale this summer, with Traore having just two years left on his deal.
That means that this summer could be the last chance for Wolves to maximise the funds they receive for the Spanish international, who Patrick Bamford has called ‘incredible’ (Northern Echo).

Traore may not have had his most productive season last term, but he still retains a reputation as one of the biggest threats in the Premier League, and would be an expensive purchase for Leeds.
EuroSport have suggested that he could cost £40 million, which would make him the Whites’ most expensive signing of all time.
If he was to join, he would make Leeds an even bigger danger on the counter attack.
And the prospect of seeing Traore in a Marcelo Bielsa side is a tantalising prospect for all at Elland Road.
