Eddie Howe has previously lauded the teenager, saying he has been very impressed and labelling him a ‘talented player’.
But clearly, there were some attractive opportunities on the table.
Chelsea have had a scary amount of talent on their books down the years. And a number of players attached to their academy have gone on to secure some impressive moves.
Meanwhile, Leeds have brought some real gems to Elland Road since Victor Orta came in. Of course, Bielsa has also already broken the record for handing the most teenagers their debut in a single season since the Premier League began this term.
And Wolves are flying under Bruno Lage. It is certainly an exciting time to be at Molineux.
Newcastle meanwhile, are looking at making some real statements in the transfer market. That is clearly good news for the first-team. But that could also concern some of the young players coming through the ranks.
White however, is seemingly up for the challenge at St James’ Park.
