Leeds United are seemingly in the race to sign Kouadio Kone, with Italian outlet Calciomercatio reporting that the Whites are battling AC Milan for the 19-year-old.
Leeds fans may be anticipating a quiet January. They have tended to do most of their business in the summer during Marcelo Bielsa’s tenure.

Having said that, the Whites have signed some exciting young players during the winter window. So perhaps it should be little surprise that they seemingly have their eye on the teenage midfielder.
Calciomercato reports that Milan want Kone, but Leeds have also been in contact with Toulouse about the France under-19 international.

It is noted in the report that the Ligue 2 side want at least £9 million for Kone.
It remains to be seen if either Leeds or the Rossoneri make a move in January or in the summer. But Leeds have shown that they are willing to invest substantial fees if they are convinced about a player.
The likes of Robin Koch, Rodrigo, Diego Llorente and Raphinha all arrived to the Premier League in the summer. Koch, Rodrigo and Raphinha have certainly all begun to vindicate the club’s faith.
And if Victor Orta and Bielsa decide that Kone would be a good addition to their ranks, it would arguably be little surprise if they were prepared to make a significant offer at some stage.
