Leeds United are reportedly interested in making a move to try sign Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Adama Traore at the end of the season when the summer transfer window opens.
According to Eurosport, Marcelo Bielsa’s side are “likely” to submit a bid for the 25-year-old next summer.
It is claimed that the Spain international has been on their radar all season and an injection of cash at Elland Road will allow them to try swoop for his signature.
90min linked Leeds with a move for the Wolves winger back in the January window and a £40million price tag was quoted at the time.
It’s unclear on how much it would cost bring in Traore when the season ends, but the Whites may be back in to try sign him.
Traore, 25, is world renowned for being arguably the fastest in the game and on his day he’s formidable.
The right-winger is such a difficult prospect for opposition full-backs with his pace, power and skill in wide areas.
But Leeds should be cautious when it comes to paying big money for him, as he’s inconsistent and has massively underwhelmed this season.
He’s scored just one goal and one assists in 24 games across all competitions.
There is every chance he could be a big success in Leeds’ expansive football, as right now he’s playing in a Wolves team that aren’t the most pleasing on the eye.
