Leeds United have been put ‘on alert’ after Atalanta have made an offer for Jeremie Boga, the Daily Mail report.
Watching on
Atalanta are said to want the Sassuolo winger, who is also claimed to be on Leeds’ radar.
With Marcelo Bielsa and Victor Orta looking to add to their attack this summer, the 24-year-old could be a valuable option.
However, Leeds are starting to lag behind in negotiations as Atalanta have now made their first move.
That is said to have put Premier League sides on red alert, as they weigh up making a counter bid.
No move yet
The Mail do stress that Leeds have not firmed up their interest to this point.

But with Atalanta now pressing and making a £15.5 million offer time could be running out if they want to do a deal.
Sassuolo are said to be willing to cash in on the former Chelsea man this summer, as they feel his value will be at its highest.
Boga has taken some time to emerge as a real top level talent, but he did look a threat last time.
The Ivorian is a skilful dribbler and also possesses great pace.
Indeed Sassuolo teammate Filip Djuricic said last year that Boga was the best dribbler he’s ever played with, even though he had been in the same team as Sadio Mane before.
“Honestly, I don’t know any dribblers better than him,” Djuricic told Football Italia.
“I played with many people but, in beating his man, he’s the best I’ve ever seen.”
He scored four goals and claimed two assists in Italy last term, to apparently put himself on Leeds radar, and it will now be interesting to see whether Orta advances negotiations himself or decides to go for other options.
