Leeds United are one of several sides keen on signing Loic Bade from Lens, with Foot Mercato reporting that the likes of AC Milan and Borussia Monchengladbach are also tracking the centre-back.
Bade is impressing in Ligue 1 this season. He has made 16 starts for the Sang et Or. And as shown by Whoscored.com, he is sixth in the top flight for most aerial duels won.

Meanwhile, just two players have made more interceptions than the 20-year-old. And he is not far outside the top 10 for clearances and accurate short passes.
And it appears that his development is not going unnoticed. According to Foot Mercato, a number of clubs have Bade on their radar.

Lyon and Rennes are looking at him. And they are joined by Leeds, Milan and Borussia Monchengladbach in the running for his signature.
Foot Mercato adds that the youngster has no plans to leave in this window. It is claimed that a summer switch may be more likely.
TBR View: Leeds may be looking to succeed where they missed out in the past
Bade is still developing and perfecting his game. But the statistics suggest that he is already one of the best performing defenders in the French top flight.
A summer bid for Bade may evoke memories for many Leeds fans of the club’s pursuit of Josko Gvardiol last year.
As noted by the Daily Mail, the Whites were in talks with Dinamo Zagreb about a potential move for the teenage defender. Ultimately however, Leeds would miss out to RB Leipzig.
So perhaps Leeds may end up feeling even more determined this time around with plenty of runners already in the race to sign Bade.
