Leeds United are reportedly eyeing Southampton goalkeeper Angus Gunn as a possible transfer target for next season.
According to the Daily Mail, Marcelo Bielsa’s team are “likely” to be chasing a new shot-stopper in the summer window and the Saints goalkeeper has been mentioned as a potential option for them.
Gunn, who earns £40,000-a-week (Spotrac), came through the Manchester City academy as a youngster and has now been at St Mary’s with Premier League club Southampton for two years.
Leeds were previously linked with the Englishman back in 2018, with the Yorkshire Evening Post claiming that they wanted to bring him to Elland Road at the time.

TBR’s View:
Leeds confirmed on Thursday that goalkeeper Illan Meslier has joined the club on a permanent basis after his impressive loan spell, as he played a vital role in getting the Yorkshire club over the line for promotion from the Championship as title winners.
But highly-rated goalkeeper Gunn is someone that could be perfect competition for him and it would be great to see the pair battling for the number one position next season.
Gunn, 24, does offer a small amount Premier League experience with 22 top-flight games so far, but time is still on his side and he could be a shrewd piece of business if Leeds fully pursue him.
